I don't know if America would be ready for a 13-episode season about a woman who chained her slaves in her house, which was set on fire by the cook shackled to the stove to keep from being punished. However, I do like the cook's statement that punishment in the house was to be sent upstairs and "Whoever went up there, never came back." The setting will have to be a place where 64-year-old Lange can fit right in. LaLaurie's mother would be perfect. Dephine apparently did not have a good relationship with her. Maybe season four!

Okay, so here's an update:Jessica, Evan, and Sarah are set to return. According to Ryan Murphy, Jessica will play a "glamour cat", meaning, expect to see her more gussied up than Constance Langdon, if possible. Murphy added that she will have "complete hair and makeup, and the best designer gowns ever." Sarah's character is unknown, and Murphy joked that Evan may play another "sobbing psychopath" (a la Tate). Murphy also said actors from Season 1 will return. I'm still hearing "historical horror romance" as the theme and the setting will be modern day. It will also take place in several cities, rather than just one city, one setting. When asked if Murphy had a horror icon in mind (Season 1: Rubber Man, Season 2: Bloody Face), he merely said "We do have a great icon, and it's a woman." Strangely, I'm not excited to hear this. As most likely it'll be about the fashion industry in some way. Jessica could pull off an awesome Anna Wintour like character.

I don't know how much horror they could get out of "Nuclear Wintour." On a whim, I recently watched "The Devil Wears Prada," which was based on her and strangely loved it. I liked Streep's Priestly-portrayal of Wintour more than I did Anne Hathaway's Andy. I think the key to any clues Ryan Murphy gives are the "shooting it in a place in the country where true horror has been" and the recent modern-day "Romeo & Juliet"-take. Unless Farmiga plays an Andy-type I don't know what "horror" it will be. I heard where a spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries" next year will be set in NOLA, so I don't think our show will be set there. I just hope our "3-setting scenarios" tie in together well.

admiralspooky may be onto something! Credit will be given if correct! Season 3 cast member Frances Conroy has stated that, although she has yet to see any scripts, the setting will be located in New Orleans. I hope they keep it within the city and the "other two locations" are not scattered across the country, unless NOLA is the end point. Entertainment Tonight article
