Right- he didn't get the burns from trying to save his family. So why would you think the conversation was before due to no burns? LOL

I'm very confused!
It doesn't seem to matter what order I put these events in, something doesn't fit!
1-Larry tells wife about Constance 2-Larry's family dies in fire 3-Constance moves into house 4-Fireplace conversation 5-Larry kills Beau 6-Larry moves out 7-Tate dies
This is the most likely the way it went down (in my opinion), however, a couple things don't jive.
-There doesn't seem to be any fire or water damage to the house during the fireplace scene or the killing Beau scene. That shit takes forever to fix!
-Larry's recovery time on the death of his family seems to be some kind of record. I know he loves Constance, but his kids just died and he manages to muster up the strength to murder another child...COME ON!
-I had assumed that Constance didn't really love Larry, and was just using him to get into the house, but that theory doesn't fit with this sequence of events. If she did love him, her disdain for him during the basement scene must have come from some event we hven't seen yet. Perhaps the real cause for Larry's burns.
-There's no real evidence for the matter of Larry moving out...if he even did during this sequence of events. I assume he must have...he didn't seem to be around when Tate died. If he did move out in 1994...when and why? It's unlikely he moved out of his own free will! Maybe, the reason for his burns plays a role in this as well, but without more info on that...it's impossible to determine.
-If it really went down in that order, they played the scenes out of sequence. What is this "Memento"? If you put them in the order that they play the scenes...the contradictions are even worse!
OK...I've come to the conclusion that 1994 sucks!
Does anybody have a better way to sequence these events?

Because they never dated the conversation with Larry and his wife, and her burning them in a fire, we really don't know what his "recovery" time from their deaths are. It could be a year in between that and him killing Beau. Personally, I don't think it's long of a time-frame because he is completely OBSESSED with Constance. When he's talking to Ben about getting back in the house because it's the only place he can be with "her", I have to assume he means Constance and not his wife or one of his kids, so his obsession with her trumps any lingering love for his family.
As for the fire damage- we don't know how far it spread and who knows when we actually see that room again. That's a big ass house. I doubt there's only 2 bedrooms in it, so, it may not have been Tate's in 1994. And even if it is, the fire may not have reached the attic or the downstairs, so those 2 scenes wouldn't show any fire damage.
Why doesn't Constance not loving Larry not fit with your timeline (which I think is correct)?
Larry could not be around when Tate dies if I'm correct in my theory that Tate is the one who gave Larry his scars. He would've already been in the burn ward. Or we just don't see him in the shooting/killing of Tate backstory because the writers didn't want us to know yet about the Larry/Constance connection. He could've just been at work when the SWAT team came. LOL

I have made a lot of changes to my timeline, but I think I will wait a couple more episodes before uploading the new images. The next episode will hopefully be VERY revealing! spam- if you make weekly changes to it offsite, you can come here, open up the Original Post by clicking the word Modify and paste the new image over the old one which will disappear. Just put a note above it to say "Modified on ....whenever." Neat, huh?
I think most here would like it updated from time to time, even if the show changes things up weekly. I think this next episode has four different timeframes to follow. Good luck with THAT!

The timeline has been updated! Be sure to go back to page 1 and have a looksie!
ny:
"Why doesn't Constance not loving Larry not fit with your timeline"
I guess I had assumed that if Larry had moved out of the house at some point, then Constance wouldn't have to cozy up to him anymore, in order to get into the house. But I think I had written that before I decided that the fireplace conversation happened after she moved in...so you're right, nothing, I guess!
"Tate is the one who gave Larry his scars"
So this is something else that must have happened in 1994 - WOW busy year for the house! lol
"the fire may not have reached the attic or the downstairs, so those 2 scenes wouldn't show any fire damage"
They also showed him in the hallway from a couple of different angles. I think it's the same hallway because the ladder to the attic is there (like a main hallway). If you have ever seen a house after the firemen get through with it, you would understand the horrific damage they do. They overturn every piece of furniture on the floor above, below and anywhere else near the fire. The water soaks through all of the walls and the floors and destroys everything around it.
Even the smallest of fires leaves your house utterly destroyed by water damage...Trust me! I know.
But I might just be over-analyzing once again. I do that!
